The Kearsley Varsity girls hosted the Flint Metro Conference match at B's Bowling tonight as the entire conference bowled and the Lady Hornets took on the Brandon BlackHawks. The match started a little slow for the Kearsley girls as they lost their first Baker game 143 to 136, it is the first Baker game loss of the season for the girls and they fell behind to start the match. The Lady Hornets bounced right back as they had a 196 the 2nd Baker game to Brandon's 126, so Kearsley took a 6 to 4 lead into the individual games. The first individual game the Hornets came out strong and won 3 out of 5 individual games and the team game with a 932 to 756 victory and then won the last game 978 to 727. The total final pinfall was Kearsley 2243 to Brandon 1752 and the final score was Kearsley 24 to Brandon 6. The win moves the Lady Hornets record to 5-0 on the season as they have won their 125 consecutive Metro Conference match over the last 11 years. Scores for Kearsley were: Samantha Timm 152, Allison Robbins 257 & 161, Allison Eible 154 & 200, Megan Timm 215 & 206, Emilea Sturk 154, Imari Blond 215 and Hannah Simms 196.

The next competition will be on Sunday, January 19th at Richfield Bowl as they will host the 10th annual Metro Conference Championship Tournament with 18 girls teams and 23 boys teams coming to the tournament it will be one of the largest tournaments of the season.
